David's day 8: Oh Deer

Starting at the lake view campsite, as on day 3, but heading south this time to Pontivy and then south-east. I've done this bit before, as is. So if you want to read my blog post from two years ago it'll give you the gist of the route.

I didn't take many pictures but things of note are...

The other side of the dam holding the lake in:

How strong I am:

This deer that swam across the river only to find me and swim back:

The castle on the water at Josselin (everyday I'm Josselin):

I've eaten near 3000kcals and still expect that to be half of what I've used today. A slow evening results in working out that is 102 grams of protein. Also that Saturday does not a quiet campsite make.

I was going for the 100km barrier and broke it as I entered the campsite in Malestroix. I've got a plan to loop round via the northern coast but don't think it'll take me very long comparably. 5 days maybe. Play by ear.

Night!
