Day 10: The Most I've Cycled, Ever, in the History of Me

Here's where I stayed last night. Translates to the campsite where fish are as welcome as people.

I decided to cycle back down to Mallec and join the path from there, which was about 11 miles retracing my steps or should that be tracks.

David's Day 9: Grave Robbing

I left the campsite this time without riding over the metal gate block as I did when I entered. Being very tired and coasting in one handed, the last thing I needed was to be shat up by a loud clank and an unexpected kick in the saddle region.

Today was not only cycle path I hadn't gone down before but also it was not marked on Google maps. And you know what, it was fine. Screw you Google for your lackluster approach to cycle route documentation. Looking at the map below, I'm writing this from between the '(2)'and the 'Rennes'.

David's day 8: Oh Deer

Starting at the lake view campsite, as on day 3, but heading south this time to Pontivy and then south-east. I've done this bit before, as is. So if you want to read my blog post from two years ago it'll give you the gist of the route.

I didn't take many pictures but things of note are...

David's Day 7: Hawkward

David's day 7:

The bird above the tents decided to give the definitive lecture on repetitive tweeting at about 5am and thus we had to postpone some nap time until late into the morning. A day when I could have easily had sleep for breakfast, made apparent by Chris being out of his tent before me.

The first thing I saw this morning. Too hot for the rain cover.

Day 6: The Breaking of the Fellowship

Day 6

Our last day

It was a moist misty morning.
Frogs from the coypu pond had been squawking during the night. Presumably last orders had been called somewhere around the 5am mark and they settled down with the sunrise.
